Job summary

Sunglass Hut, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Assistant Manager I to join our leadership team in Boston. You will partner with the Store/Multi Store Manager to oversee daily store functions, including selling, coaching, merchandising and talent acquisition.

You will drive retail excellence and customer service across the floor. In this role you will develop associates, maintain brand standards, stay current on fashion and performance products, and execute promotions while leading by example

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience.
• Expertise in store operations.
• Detail-oriented with strong execution.
• Customer service/retail experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and develop associates.
• Use reporting tools to identify performance gaps and address them.
• Provide ongoing coaching to all associates.
• Acquire talent via interviews with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
• Spend majority of time on the sales floor.
• Develop customer relationships and uphold brand standards.
• Maintain store merchandising standards and product knowledge.
• Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures.
• Communicate brand strategy and promotions clearly.
