Job summary

Sunglass Hut, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Assistant Manager I to partner with the Store/Multi Store Manager and oversee daily store operations, selling, coaching, merchandising, and talent acquisition.

You will spend much time on the sales floor, develop associates, maintain brand standards, and drive the sales plan while building strong customer relationships and maintaining merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in retail or store operations.
• Detail-oriented with strong execution.
• Uses critical thinking to execute operational components.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales plan and develop associates on the sales floor.
• Coach and motivate team to deliver brand standards.
• Recruit and interview candidates with Store/Multi Store Manager.
• Support self-development through individual development plans.
• Spend the majority of time on the sales floor.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and use tools to improve performance.
• Maintain merchandising standards and execute promotions and incentives.
• Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.
• Communicate brand strategy and promotions clearly to the team.
