Job summary

Dollar Tree in Bel Air, Maryland is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, support customer service, and develop front-line teams to deliver a clean, friendly shopping experience.

You will assist with merchandise flow, scheduling, opening/closing duties, and loss prevention while ensuring compliance with company policies. This is a part-time role requiring strong communication and people skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
