Dollar Express is a newcomer in the dollar store segment of the retail industry, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, operating 330 stores across 36 states.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Your duties will include maintaining inventory, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet and assist customers positively and approachable.
2. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns effectively.
3. Maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment.
4. Supervise, train, and develop store team members under the Store Manager's guidance.
5. Assist with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring stock from the stockroom to the store.
6. Support in ordering merchandise, record-keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
7. Contribute to loss prevention efforts.
8. Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
