Job summary

Mattress Firm in the United States is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to elevate the in-store experience as a trusted sleep authority. You will lead by coaching associates, execute selling programs, support an omnichannel environment, and help Senior Store Manager with training and merchandising across multiple stores.

This transitional role develops your skills toward a store manager position, with uncapped commissions and a 401(k) match, and a compensation range of $40,000–$48,000 annually

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or leadership role.
• Ability to coach associates on selling practices.
• Ability to manage in-store merchandising and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Elevate in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority.
• Execute MFRM selling programs and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Lead in resolving customer-related issues and escalate when necessary.
• Coach associates and train store team.
• Promote and achieve store financial targets through customer service.
• Ensure product merchandising, marketing, and POP standards.
• Follow procedures for product transfers and inventory documentation.
• Lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds.
