Job summary

Böhme, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to work with the Store Manager to run daily store operations, drive sales, and control expenses and inventory. You will participate in store recruitment, staff development, and maintaining brand standards while leading a diverse team.

The role includes staffing, training, scheduling, and supervising cash handling, POS usage, and loss prevention. A strong focus on customer service and operational excellence is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 1+ year retail management experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to count and perform retail mathematical equations.
• Excellent organization, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work POS and other store computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and hire store staff.
• Train Sales Associates and Leads to develop within the company.
• Address performance issues and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist in developing staff schedules and manage overtime and breaks.
• Maintain diverse workforce and uphold company standards.
• Motivate staff to hit store sales goals and participate in sales contests.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure merchandise presentation and visual standards are met; supervise inventory flow.
• Oversee cash handling and banking procedures and store cash flow accounting.
• Stay up-to-date with POS usage and store tech systems.
• Safeguard store assets and minimize loss; enforce operations standards.
• Act as Store Manager in the Manager's absence and prioritize duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
