You will assist with merchandising, opening/closing procedures, and adherence to company policies while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. The role requires a high school diploma and store-management experience is preferred; lifting up to 55 lbs and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle the demands of frequent movement and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store frontage.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom according to company standards.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and ensure policy compliance.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
