Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development in Hammond, IN. You will assist with daily store activities, support merchandise flow, and help train store associates.

The role requires strong communication skills, a high school diploma is preferred, and previous store management experience is a plus. This is a part-time position based in-store.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience in a store or grocery setting preferred.

• Ability to train and develop store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support loss prevention and payroll/scheduling record keeping.
