Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in New Town, North Dakota. You will assist with daily store activities and help supervise and train Store Associates.

You will ensure a clean, well-stocked store, handle opening/closing duties, and uphold company policies while delivering a positive, safe shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks like walking, standing, stooping, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and protect assets; ensure safety and policies.
