Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Holland, MI location. You will help manage daily functions and supervise store associates to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role requires strong communication, integrity, and a hands-on approach to training, scheduling, and loss prevention. Part-time schedule with a focus on customer service excellence and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Support customers with a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Follow directives and maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged stock, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets and ensure cash handling is secure.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates with a focus on safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional store environment.
