Job Description
This position involves several responsibilities aimed at achieving sales goals, maintaining store standards, and ensuring operational efficiency. Key duties include:
- Providing excellent customer service to produce sales gains.
- Meeting or exceeding company objectives across all key statistics.
- Providing consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance, including feedback on strengths and opportunities, aligned with company goals.
- Adhering to visual merchandising guidelines, signage, and store cleanliness standards.
- Maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with the Dress Code Policy.
Control Expenses
Responsibilities include:
- Protecting company assets following retail policies.
- Assisting in creating store schedules that ensure proper coverage and wage control.
- Managing inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and counting products.
- Maintaining proper documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
- Opening and closing the store as required, following operational procedures.
- Supporting adherence to all company policies and guidelines.
Additional Duties
- Participating in training programs and achieving set sales and operational goals.
- Assisting in recruiting and training staff on store operations.
- Encouraging compliance with policies related to inventory, funds, and property security.
- Performing supervisory tasks as needed.
- Communicating effectively across all levels of staff.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least one year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to achieve sales results and minimize loss.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work with hands overhead.
- Ability to stand for up to 100% of the work time.
