Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in the United States is seeking an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading and coaching our Sales Associates, driving sales, customer service, and operational excellence in a fast-paced beauty retail environment.

Candidates should have proven supervisory experience in cosmetics retail, ability to mentor teams, manage inventory and cash reconciliation, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and events.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics.
• The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
• Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
• Support the Store Manager to lead and manage store operations.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and store presentation.
• Oversee inventory control and cash reconciliation processes.
