Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development in a busy retail setting in Huntingdon, TN.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise flow, and support opening/closing processes while maintaining safety and a positive atmosphere. The role emphasizes strong communication, high-energy teamwork, and effective loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision‑making skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets including cash and security of the premises.
• Follow policies and safety guidelines and train/store associates as needed.
• Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and team members.
