Dollar Tree in Johnson City, Tennessee is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver great customer service, and develop the team. This role supports merchandise movement, supervises associates, and maintains a clean, safe store environment.

You will assist with opening/closing tasks, payroll/scheduling basics, and loss prevention in a fast-paced retail setting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Retail store management experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high-energy team.
Customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
Organize merchandise from delivery to floor; maintain seasonal areas.
Perform opening and closing procedures.
Support Store Manager in training and development of associates.
Maintain clean and safe store environment.
Protect company assets and handle cash register deposits and receipts.
