Dollar Tree, Inc. in Johnson City, TN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage merchandising, staff training, and ensure a positive shopping environment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, work in a fast-paced setting, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. Prior store management experience in retail or similar environments is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
