Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs; capable of standing, walking, and repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy team environment.
• Customer service, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain two areas: a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean and presentable; restock bathrooms and floors; manage trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
