Minuteman Food Mart is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will lead a team, coach staff, manage inventory, and uphold visual standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework or a degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
• Previous retail supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Strong management, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with focus on service and shopping experience.
• Understanding of retail operations, inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Proficiency with computer systems and POS software.
• Knowledge of labor laws and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager to drive sales, revenue targets and profitability.
• Coach and guide store team to maintain positive work environment.
• Collaborate in recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing team.
• Help implement strategies to enhance customer service and loyalty.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with ordering.
• Support visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze sales data and monitor KPIs to address trends.
• Help control labor costs and other operating expenses.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Address customer concerns and provide exceptional service.
• Stay informed about industry trends and promotions.
