Minuteman Food Mart seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service. You will help manage inventory, coaching a diverse team, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

The role requires strong leadership, a customer-centric mindset, and effective communication. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability will be expected as part of a flexible retail schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Previous retail experience, especially in a supervisory role.
• Strong management skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving sales, revenue targets, and profitability.
• Coach and guide the store team to maintain a positive, productive work environment.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring policy compliance.
• Improve customer service, loyalty, and welcoming store atmosphere.
• Help manage inventory records, ordering, and merchandising to meet demand.
• Monitor sales data and KPIs to address trends and opportunities.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotions with other departments.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
