Job summary

Journeys is seeking team-oriented individuals at Rockaway Town Square Mall, NJ to support Store Manager and Training Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training staff. The role focuses on achieving store and personal sales goals, controlling expenses, and protecting company assets.

You will help recruit, train, and develop a successful sales team while ensuring adherence to company policies. This position offers opportunities for rapid promotion and an energetic store environment with employee

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to work 45 hours per week including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and performance standards.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing policies and practices.
• Ensure implementation of company initiatives and adherence to company direction.
• Supervise and manage daily store operations in the absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Oversee Loss Prevention practices in the absence of leadership.
• Communicate store needs effectively to leadership.
• Resolve customer issues and provide a fun, full-service experience.
• Demonstrate Journeys culture and brand to the team.
