Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• 1–2 years retail sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and complete training for Manager in Training.
• Ability to work 45 hours per week; including nights/weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old; state variations apply.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store sales goals and standards of performance.
• Recruit, interview, and hire in-store personnel.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and enforce company policies.
• Ensure all initiatives align with company direction and standards.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews.
• Recognize staff and develop for growth within Journeys.
• Supervise daily store operations and loss prevention.
• Plan weekly staffing schedules per policy.
• Deliver a fun, full-service customer experience.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and professionally.
