Family Dollar in Toledo, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for part-time operations. You’ll support daily store functions, assist customers, and help train Store Associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will organize merchandise, manage stockrooms, and ensure displays remain appealing while upholding safety and policy standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure staff follow store policies and safety guidelines.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
