Job summary

Family Dollar in Monroe, Michigan is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with day-to-day store functions, assist customers, and organize merchandise from delivery to floor.

You will also manage opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, and uphold safety and policy adherence while mentoring store associates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and cleanliness.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and associates.
