Family Dollar Stores Of Oklahoma LLC in Spiro, OK is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and help customers with questions.

You will supervise, train, and develop store associates, ensure a safe, clean store, organize merchandise, and follow corporate directives. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet physical demands of standing, walking, and repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom following company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash; adhere to safety policies.
