Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a friendly manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stock and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain attractive fixtures and displays; ensure promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom; protect store assets.
• Lead and develop store associates; ensure a positive, safe environment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and restrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
