Job summary

Foot Locker in Schaumburg, IL seeks an experienced store leader to assist the Operations Manager in delivering a premium store experience through employee management, stock, visual merchandising, and training.

You will lead a team, handle omnichannel challenges, ensure efficient store operations, and participate in duties in absence of the Operations Manager. This role offers growth within a major retail network.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 1 year of experience.
• Confident and comfortable interacting with employees and providing direction.
• Resourceful and versatile in responding to changing demands in a rapidly changing omni-channel retail environment.
• Initiates completion of tasks without supervision.
• Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis and decision making.

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversees shipment of all requested merchandise to appropriate warehouse for RTV and store transfers.
• Retrieves merchandise and fulfills customer Locate orders.
• Reconciles store-to-store transfer documents, shipment manifests and nightly operations paperwork.
• Follows loss prevention policies to minimize shrink.
• Maintains visual merchandising standards, price adjustments, and compliance impacting the customer experience.
