Job summary

Maverik is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (Operations) in Hyde Park, Utah to lead and support daily store operations. You will supervise Team Members, ensure safety, and help with training and bookkeeping tasks while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Starting pay is $17.71–$19.71 per hour with opportunities for career growth, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employee discount program as you contribute to a fast-paced, 24/7 store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• 1 year+ of supervisory experience preferred.
• ServeSafe certification required or willing to obtain.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Lead and mentor Team Members; oversee operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and oversee tasks of Team Members.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and supervision of all Team Members.
• Support facility safety inspections and equipment checks.
• Handle general reporting and bookkeeping responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
