Position Summary

As an Assistant Manager you partner with the Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales, maintain standards, and lead a high‑performing team. You will create positive customer experiences, motivate staff, and contribute to store KPIs. This role offers growth opportunities within Wolverine Worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Model brand values, motivate and engage your team, and promote an inclusive, positive work atmosphere.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example.
• Assist in driving sales, maintaining standards, and complying with established policies.
• Communicate efficiently on‑floor and behind the scenes; maintain relationships across the business, with customers, and community partners.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on innovative marketing ideas.
• Own stock management, visual merchandising, and help achieve store KPIs.
• Educate the team, advise customers, and maintain a supportive, productive environment.
• Support opening/closing, cash handling, stock control, merchandising, and store upkeep.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for brands and lifestyle.
• Self‑starter, ambitious, and driven to exceed targets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
