gorjana is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to contribute to store performance through talent development, operations, visual standards and customer experience. This role is based at our Seaport location and supports recruiting, coaching, scheduling, inventory control, and delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates are coachable, adaptable, and passionate about the gorjana brand. This is a full-time role requiring availability for nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced store

Job description

As the Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for contributing to the store’s performance including talent initiatives, operational execution, visual standards, and customer experience.

Ideal candidates are individuals who are motivated, adaptable to change, coachable, and have a passion for our brand. This role is based out of our Seaport location.

Your Day to Day May Include:

• Support overall store performance and KPI’s
• Serve as brand ambassador by showing passion for the brand, educating our customers on our history, and you are knowledgeable about our product and the industry as a whole
• Experienced in creating effective action plans to maintain or improve performance
• Knowledgeable in how to build new and repeat business through customer clienteling

Training + Development

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and developing both internal and external talent
• Effective in your communication style, and your messaging energizes and encourages others to want to work together
• Enjoy leading through collaboration, encouraging the team to share ideas and opinions, fostering accountability and trust
• Capable of clearly communicating new initiatives and goals in a timely and effective manner

Customer Service

• Passionate about providing the best customer experience to purchasing and non-purchasing customers
• Enjoy leading by example when setting the tone in how the team shows up each day in store and personal presentation
• Capable of leading and coaching through return policies, while also prioritizing the overall customer experience
• Quick to respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner, while being resolution oriented
• Capable of leading execution of brand visual standards and updates

Operations:

• Capable of executing daily store operations in a timely and efficient manner
• Experienced in scheduling team members to the needs of the business and budget
• Experienced in managing store inventory with a high level of detail and organization per SOPs
• Willing and capable of leading opening / closing duties

• At least one year experience in a retail leadership position
• Must be over the age of 18
• Ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs

• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 6 hours per shift
• Ability to be flexible to the needs of the business, working nights, weekends, and holiday shifts
