Job summary

Crosby’s Stores is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager in New York to help lead daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will support the Team Leader to maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment while driving store success.

The role includes supervising team members, maintaining high standards, and ensuring a great experience for every customer, every day. Shift differential applies for late-night hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work at least 40 hours per week, including weekends.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Serve Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Prepare fresh food and made-to-order items following Crosby’s standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in My Crosby’s Rewards.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling and add-on recommendations.
• Oversee daily operations for efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand standards.
• Support merchandising, promotions, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, tobacco, alcohol, and company regulations.
• Train, coach, and schedule store staff.
• Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping.
• Monitor cash handling and daily deposits.
• Report discrepancies and maintain records.
• Ensure safety and monitor equipment.
