O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the team in servicing customers and stand in during the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training required.
• Assistant Manager Certification required.
• RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring by conducting recruiting tasks, scheduling interviews, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Manage buy online/ship to store and transfers, and contact customers upon shipment.
• Ensure returns are processed efficiently and refunds issued correctly.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and day end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• Maintain store appearance, signage, lighting, and delivery vehicles.
