Job summary

VIVAIA is seeking a passionate Assistant Store Manager in Santa Clara to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor.

You will develop a high-performing team, maintain store standards, and uphold sustainability and brand values while serving as Manager-on-Duty when needed. This role requires leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in footwear, apparel, fashion, or lifestyle retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Support the achievement of sales goals, KPIs, and store performance metrics.
• Build strong customer relationships and promote brand loyalty through personalized service.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching team members.
• Motivate associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.
• Provide ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and recognition.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and loss prevention practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Manage inventory processes, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
• Assist in scheduling and labor management to support business needs.
• Support local marketing initiatives, in-store events, and promotional activities.
• Partner with the Store Manager to execute company strategies and initiatives.
