Job summary

TJX Companies' Sierra Westminster store is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a large team and deliver memorable customer experiences. You’ll drive store performance, train Associates, and implement plans to meet sales and service targets in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll mentor staff, coordinate operations from merchandising to loss prevention, and uphold safety standards while fostering an inclusive culture. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing key operations (merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving).
• Attract, recruit, and develop Associates; mentor and role model a positive environment.
• Communicate action plans for projects, targets, and store changes; contribute to succession planning.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service targets; coordinate loss prevention and store operations.
