Job summary

Marshalls is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to foster an inclusive and high-energy environment at our West Mifflin location. You will lead a large team, drive sales, control expenses, and oversee merchandising, backroom, front line, and service operations to create unforgettable customer moments.

You will recruit, train, and mentor Associates, ensuring strong performance and engagement while upholding safety and loss prevention standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
Ability to lead, develop and empower a large team.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to mentor others.
Proficiency in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, safety, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

Drive store performance by supporting sales results and managing operations (merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, receiving).
Attract, recruit, and develop Associates; mentor and role model to create a positive experience for staff and customers.
Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, and store changes; contribute to succession planning.
Implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and service targets; coordinate loss prevention and store efficiency.
