Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead the team, and assist with staffing. You will partner closely with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and support hiring, onboarding, and development of store associates.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years in a retail leadership role, with 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver exceptional service.
• Assist with inventory control, shrink prevention, and policy compliance.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training of new colleagues.
• Help maintain staffing levels through recruiting and employee retention efforts.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
