Job summary

Fresh Dining Concepts, LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales, labor, and food cost targets. You will supervise staff, lead day-to-day operations, and ensure guest satisfaction, quality, and safety across the store.

The role requires staffing decisions, training, and scheduling with leadership oversight from the District Manager. Experience in retail management and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience coaching and developing teams in a retail environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Shift Manager/Shift Leader.
• Current ServSafe certification required; Food Handler Permit as required by local laws.

Responsibilities

• Meet financial targets: labor costs, food costs, and sales goals.
• Supervise and direct staff; recruit, interview, hire, train, and schedule.
• Maintain inventory, monitor waste, and control cost of goods without compromising quality.
• Ensure guest satisfaction, product quality, and safety across operations.
• Maintain dress code and personal appearance standards; enforce policies.
• Prepare accurate monthly inventories and timekeeping; manage vendor payments as needed.
• Coordinate promotional, marketing, and public relations activities with the GM/Store Manager.
