Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and drive sales performance at our Goose Creek, SC location. You will partner with the Store Manager on staffing, onboarding, and development of store associates to maintain operational excellence.

The role requires 2–4 years in a retail leadership capacity and a focus on customer experience, loss prevention, and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals, customer experience standards, and operational expectations are met.
Monitor sales activity and provide guidance to associates to deliver excellent customer service.
Assist with inventory control, inventory transactions, and shrink prevention efforts.
Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
Assist the Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training support.
