Job summary

The North Face is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Woodbridge, VA. You will lead, develop, and motivate a team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience aligned with brand values. In the absence of the Store Manager, you assume full responsibility for store operations and profitability.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail leadership, strong communication, and a proven ability to drive sales goals while maintaining store standards and a inclusive, high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Two+ years retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; hands-on experience valued.
• Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Brand Advocates to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
• Partner with Store Manager to drive profitability through merchandising, operations and engagement.
• Manage store opening/closing, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of high-caliber talent.
• Provide ongoing training and development feedback to team members.
