Dollar Tree in Monroe, Utah is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, organize merchandise, and help train Store Associates to deliver friendly service.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling basics, maintaining clean, well-stocked floors and stockrooms, and safeguarding store assets while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and store communications related to activities.
• Maintain fixtures, displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain tidy, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Train and develop Store Associates; supervise under Store Manager guidance.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
