Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Monroe, NC to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and ensure storefronts remain well-presented.

You will also help supervise Store Associates, perform opening/closing procedures, and uphold company policies while maintaining a positive, safe environment for customers and staff. This position emphasizes teamwork and strong service standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, climbing).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for storefronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, records (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits) and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neat appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
