Job summary

Aéropostale is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Greenville to support the Store Manager in building a high-energy team that delivers outstanding customer experiences. You will drive sales, oversee store operations, and maintain visual standards while developing staff and promoting a positive, inclusive culture.

You will lead by example, manage priorities with urgency, and collaborate across departments to achieve results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Co/Assistant Manager in apparel or similar volume retail.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and store targets.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Occasional travel to other store locations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans for results.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and selling skills to maximize sales.
• Engage customers to build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Develop team members who are committed to creating a great customer experience.
• Oversee division of responsibility and be accountable for results.
• Ensure merchandising and operations standards are consistently met.
• Learn all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive the business.
• Remain composed in face of challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and assist in management when needed.
