Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales and profitability through merchandising, expense control and inventory management.

You will train and develop the store team, ensure policy compliance, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires leadership across multiple locations within the district and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in retail management.
• Excellent command of the English language for effective communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills with poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to think strategically, plan and organize effectively.
• Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Multi-tasking and prioritization under changing demands.
• Analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall quality and performance of store staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Model leadership to meet store goals and training standards.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and training of store personnel.
• Assist with annual performance evaluations for all store employees.
• Assist with expense management and budgeting.
• Monitor shrink and identify loss-related issues to meet shrink goals.
• Control safety and business standards across stores.
• Support training of employees in selling and merchandising techniques.
• Uphold customer service standards to provide outstanding service.
• Assist with regular merchandise inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a 40-hour standard work week.
• Support a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
