Vans in California is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of Brand Advocates and deliver a best-in-class customer experience in line with our Off The Wall brand. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability through sales coaching, operations, and community engagement, while developing talent and maintaining visual standards.

This role requires 2+ years in retail leadership, strong communication skills, and a hands-on, inclusive leadership style with a high school

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability to drive sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Model exceptional customer service and selling behaviors.
• Supervise daily store operations, opening/closing, floor coverage.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and development.
• Ensure policy compliance and operational standards.
• Manage expenses, shrink, and profitability with the Store Manager.
• Maintain visual merchandising and stock replenishment.
• Foster inclusive, high-performing retail environment.
• Support inventory management through shipping/receiving.
