Job summary

Vans is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of Brand Advocates in delivering exceptional customer experiences aligned with our Off The Wall brand values.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive profitability through selling excellence, merchandising standards, and efficient operations while fostering an inclusive, high-performing retail environment. You will also help recruit and train staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; hands-on achievements valued.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with ability to influence across levels.
• Ability to stand, move, and perform light to moderate physical tasks in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to deliver best-in-class customer experiences aligned with brand values.
• Partner with Store Manager to drive profitability through excellent customer engagement, merchandising, operations and community connection.
• In the Store Manager’s absence, assume full store responsibility.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard high-caliber talent; provide ongoing training and development.
