Job summary

Dollar Tree in Greenwood, MS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with opening/closing, merchandising, and daily tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with a preference for prior store management experience. This is a part-time position with opportunities to contribute across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and supervise/train store associates as needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
