Columbia Sportswear Company in Auburn, WA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the Store Leadership Team. You will support the Store Manager to ensure smooth store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role focuses on developing staff, improving customer experience, and achieving profitability while maintaining a collaborative team atmosphere and strong store standards.

Qualifications

• No specific education required, HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in position or specialization.
• Experience operating a POS and in-store systems.
• Ability to use judgment to resolve day-to-day problems.
• Effective communication with the store leadership team, associates, and customers.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Execute and support plans to enhance employee productivity and performance.
• Assist Store Manager in interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching staff.
• Provide coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis to ensure staff performance standards.
• Maintain inventory levels through replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication.
• Assist Store Manager with development and implementation of action plans to address issues related to store sales, goals, safety, training, and personnel development.
