Job summary

Dollar Tree in Angier, NC is seeking a part-time store manager to assist with daily store operations, help customers, and organize merchandise across the sales floor and stockroom. You will lead and train store associates, ensure safety and policy compliance, and maintain tidy storefronts.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, processing directives, protecting assets, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for storefronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain tidy, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom per company standards.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and ensure asset security.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies by all associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, trash, and general presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
