Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in merchandise ordering, damaged merchandise processing, records (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Follow policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
