Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Retail store management experience in grocery or drug store is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Move merchandise from truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise, payroll records, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas clean, stocked, and compliant with policies.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
