Job summary

Levi Strauss & Co. in Waipahu, HI seeks a capable retail leader to support the Store Manager in developing the store team and delivering strategies that ensure brand integrity, customer satisfaction, and financial growth.

This role includes acting in the absence of the Store Manager, supervising payroll, cash handling, and inventory control, and hiring and coaching staff to meet sales goals while maintaining Levi’s selling standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years progressively responsible retail leadership experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Solid experience and demonstrated skills in supervising, coaching and training sales associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the hiring, training and retention of a store staff that model Levi Strauss & Co selling practices, deliver authentic customer service and meet sales goals.
• Execute flawless store visual presentation by following corporate visual direction and recommending merchandising adaptations where needed.
• Recruit and conduct screening interviews for stylist position and make recommendations for new hires.
• Participate in training process for new hires on LS&Co culture, product knowledge, selling practices and other associate responsibilities.
• Coach and develop staff to increase knowledge and skill sets, providing opportunities for continued development and growth within the organization.
• Contribute to a positive work environment that encourages retention and talent.
• Manage minor employee relations issues including performance management and holding associates accountable for following LS&Co policies and procedures.
