Job summary

Dollar Tree in Redding, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development on a part-time, on-site basis. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, and manage merchandise flow from delivery to floor while maintaining clean, organized shelves and stockrooms.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and leadership to supervise Store Associates, uphold safety standards, and implement directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom, per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
